San Marcos, TX — November 18, 2023, a Hutto man was injured following a car accident just before 2:30 a.m. on East Sessom Drive.
According to preliminary information about the accident, the crash happened in the area of East Sessom and Pleasant Street.
Officials stated that a 22-year-old Hutto man was in a Polaris Slingshot that was going westbound along Sessom. There was S-curve in the roadway at Pleasant Street. On that curve, authorities say that either the Slingshot or an oncoming Subaru Crosstrek went left of center. As a result, the vehicles collided.
The Hutto man in the Slingshot reportedly sustained serious injuries in the crash. The other driver wasn’t injured. Authorities say both drivers blamed each other for the crash, and there is no confirmation one way or the other at this time.
