Brazoria County, TX — May 31, 2023, Hunter Gartman was killed in a crash with an alleged drunk driver around 7 p.m. on County Road 311 in Brazoria County.

According to officials, the victim’s motorcycle was heading southeast on County Road 311 when a GMC Sierra allegedly attempted a left-hand turn onto County Road 496. Investigators say the GMC failed to yield the right of the way and allegedly cut the corner while turning.

Mr. Gartman was purportedly rushed to a hospital, but his injuries ultimately proved to be fatal.

Police recommended charging the GMC Sierra driver with driving while intoxicated.
