Dimmit County, TX — June 11, 2023, Humberto Martinez and Christopher Martinez were killed and three were injured after a commercial truck accident on Loop 517.
Investigations from authorities indicate that the accident happened at approximately 7:04 a.m. in the area of Loop 517 mile marker 410.
According to officials, 30-year-old Humberto Martinez, 35-year-old Brandon Montoya, 37-year-old Eric Trevino, and 28-year-old Christopher Martinez were all in a Ford F-250 that was traveling eastbound along Loop 517. On a curve in the road, the Ford and an oncoming commercial truck somehow collided head-on.
As a result of this collision, both Humberto and Christopher Martinez were killed. Trevino and Montoya reportedly had incapacitating injuries while the truck driver, identified as Oscar Rodriguez, reportedly had non-incapacitating injuries.
