San Antonio, TX — July 2, 2025, one person was reportedly injured due to a stabbing incident that happened around midnight at a hotel off Encino Commons.
Authorities said they were called to the hotel in the area northeast of Evans Road and US 281.
Authorities say that there was an altercation outside of the hotel involving a 37-year-old. They say that another man stabbed the victim, then reportedly left the scene. The stabbing victim was ultimately transported to the hospital with potentially critical injuries.
Right now, authorities have not identified the suspect publicly. Details about the altercation remain unclear, as well.

Not only do I hope authorities are able to see accountability for anyone responsible for stabbing someone, but I also hope they take time to consider other surrounding factors. For example, if this is a location that sees a lot of crime happening, is there any kind of security at this location that could help prevent such incidents? That may seem like a minor concern to some, but sometimes resolving a situation like this includes taking steps to help prevent other incidents from happening in the future.
