North Haven, CT — January 26, 2024, two people were injured in a hit-and-run truck accident at approximately 9:30 p.m. along Interstate 91.
According to authorities, the accident took place on Interstate 91 in the vicinity of the exit for Clintonville Road.
The causal factors that led to the crash are still unclear. Officials indicate that the accident took place between an 18-wheeler and two passenger vehicles; however, emergency personnel arrived on scene to find only the two passenger vehicles. The 18-wheeler had purportedly fled the scene.
Two people reportedly incurred suspected minor injuries as a result of the hit-and-run accident; they were transported to a local hospital in order to receive necessary treatment.
