Tarrant County, TX — October 5, 2024, two people were injured in a hit-and-run car accident at approximately 12:00 midnight on the I.H. 20 service road.
According to authorities, three females ages 29, 31, and 13 were traveling in a Cadillac SUV in the U-turn lane going from the westbound to the eastbound service road for Interstate Highway 20 at Matlock Road when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the Cadillac was rear-ended by a Nissan of unknown model as the Cadillac was yielding to eastbound traffic on the service road. The Nissan allegedly fled the scene without stopping to either exchange information with the occupants of the Cadillac or render aid of any sort to those who were hurt.
The 31-year-old woman suffered reportedly serious injuries, while the 13-year-old sustained moderate injuries. They were each transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident—including the identities of the victims—are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
