Monroe County, GA — August 5, 2023, multiple injuries were reported following a Greyhound bus accident at around 3:15 p.m. along I-75.

Initial details about the crash say that it happened in the area of Interstate 75 mile marker 182 near Rumble Road just outside of Forsyth.

According to officials, a Greyhound bus was traveling along southbound lanes of the interstate carry approximately 36 people. It appears that a tire blew out, causing the Greyhound to lose control and run off-road. The bus then overturned.

As a result of the crash, reports say that at least 13 people were transported from the scene with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening. Currently, there are no further details confirmed about the accident. Investigations are ongoing.
