Houston, TX — May 15, 2024, Gladjean Chimaijem and one other person were injured in a car accident shortly after 5:00 p.m. along Westpark Drive.
According to authorities, 62-year-old Gladjean Chimaijem and a 26-year-old woman were traveling in an eastbound Nissan Sentra on Westpark Drive at a stop light at the Woodchase Drive intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, an eastbound Hyundai Elantra occupied by a 32-year-old man failed to come to a stop for the red light; it reportedly collided with the rear-end of the Sentra which was, in turn, pushed forward into the rear-end of a Porsche Cayenne.
Both Chimaijem and the man from the Elantra suffered reportedly severe injuries as a result of the wreck; they were each transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
