Dierks, AR — June 19, 2023, Gerald Cornish was killed in a collision with a tractor-trailer around 12:26 p.m. on U.S. Highway 70 E in Dierks.
According to officials, the victim’s Nissan and a Freightliner semi-truck were driving west on the highway when the victim’s car allegedly rear-ended the semi-truck.
Mr. Cornish was transported to DeQueen Medical Center but was later pronounced deceased due to the injuries sustained in the crash.
Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
