Odessa, TX — August 14, 2024, Ganella Esparza was injured following a car accident that occurred around 5:17 P.M. on W. 16th Street.
An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person injured during the evening hours of August 14th. According to official reports, Ganella Esparza was travelling in a Hyundai Kona on W. 16th Street in the westbound lanes, near the Neptune Ave. intersection, when a Honda CR-V coming from behind Esparza failed to control its speed and struck Esparza in the rear.
As a result of the impact, both vehicles sustained significant damage. When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Esparza had sustained serious injuries and transported her to the hospital. At this time there has been no further information released about the accident, including the status of Esparza’s injuries and whether any charges or citations will be filed.
