Cooke County, TX — June 9, 2024, a Gainesville man was injured following a motorcycle accident at around 9:00 a.m. along F.M. 3164.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that the accident occurred east of Lake Kiowa in the area of the F.M. 3164 and F.M. 2134 intersection.

According to officials, a 35-year-old Gainesville man was on a motorcycle going northbound along F.M. 3164. The motorcycle somehow traveled off the side of the road, went across a pair of private drives, then eventually hit a pole. The rider was thrown from the bike with reportedly serious injuries. No one else appeared to have been involved in the accident.
