Dallas, TX — January 7, 2022, Francisco Carrera Jr. was fatally injured in a car accident at around 3:48 a.m. along U.S. Highway 175.
Preliminary information about the fatal crash say that it happened along the westbound lanes of C. F. Hawn Freeway near Prairie Creek Road.
Authorities gave initial details about events surrounding the crash. Their statements said that 32-year-old Francisco Carrera Jr. was in a Lincoln MKX that was going along the westbound lanes of the freeway. For reasons still not confirmed, the vehicle lost control and crashed along the ditch between main lanes and the service road.
As a result of the collision, Carrera sustained fatal injuries. There was no mention of anyone else being involved in the crash, in Carrera’s vehicle or otherwise. There is no further confirmed information about the cause of the crash.
