How Did This Accident Occur?
It’s not clear at this time how these vehicles came into contact. Did they collide during a lane change? Did one rear-end the other? Did a mechanical issue affect their brakes or steering mechanism?
Guesses or assumptions won’t cut it. This crash demands a thorough investigation, delving into witness statements, evidence at the scene, data from both vehicles and any available traffic cam footage to determine how this crash unfolded. An independent expert may be needed to rule out any mechanical problems with either vehicle, since that typically isn’t part of law enforcement’s purview in crash investigations.
