Marshall County, SD — July 14, 2023, a man was killed as the result of a truck versus field sprayer accident Friday afternoon along 420th Avenue.
According to investigations, the incident happened in the area of Langford at 420th Avenue and 119th Street.
Initial details about the accident say that it involved a 45-year-old man who had pulled a semi-truck over along the side of 420th Avenue. While outside of the truck, it appears a field sprayer passing by struck the parked truck and the driver with the sprayer boom.
Due to this collision, the man outside of the truck sustained fatal injuries. It appears there were no other injuries. At this time, additional details surrounding the accident are unavailable pending further investigations.
