Houston, TX — June 18, 2023, a woman was fatally injured due to a single-vehicle car accident at around 9:30 p.m. along Shaver Street.
According to initial details about the crash, it happened in the area of the Shaver Street and Galveston Road intersection near Edgebrook.
According to officials, a woman, who has not yet been publicly identified, was in a vehicle that was going along Shaver. Due to events which are not clear at this time, the vehicle ran off-road and crashed into a utility pole.
The collision resulted in the woman being partially ejected from the vehicle, authorities say. Due to this, the woman sustained fatal injuries. It appears a wheel came off the woman’s vehicle and hit another vehicle. Right now, though, there is no indication of anyone else being hurt. The factors surrounding the crash are still under investigation at this time.
