Williamson County, TX — November 9, 2023, Evan Roarke McMichael was injured as the result of a car accident at around 9:00 p.m. along Tollway 183A.
According to officials, the crash took place along southbound lanes near Innovation Way.
It appears that 51-year-old Evan Roarke McMichael was in a Cadillac going along main lanes of the tollway. Weather conditions were rainy at the time, and the vehicle apparently lost control. It veered to the left onto the median, and the right side of the vehicle slid into the end of the guardrail.
As a result of the accident, McMichael sustained reportedly serious injuries. No one else appeared to have been involved in the accident. Right now, additional details can’t be confirmed.

I can’t help wondering if there’s something unusual that happened here. A car’s right side hits a guardrail, but the driver—on the opposite side of the vehicle—is seriously injured. There could very well be details authorities failed to mention that could explain this, but given the spotlight guardrails have been under in recent years due to serious defects, I can’t help wondering if that got any attention here.
