Chilton, TX — November 25, 2024, Eugenio and Marry Hernandez were killed following a truck accident at approximately 4:00 p.m. along F.M. 935.
According to authorities, 86-year-old Eugenio Hernandez and 72-year-old Marry Hernandez were traveling in Buick on F.M. 935 at the S.H. 7 intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a collision took place between the Buick and an eastbound 18-wheeler as the Buick was turning onto the highway. Eugenio Hernandez suffered fatal injuries as a result of the wreck and was declared deceased at the scene, according to reports. Marry Hernandez sustained reportedly critical injuries over the course of the accident and was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive immediate treatment. However, she was ultimately unable to overcome the severity of her injuries, having there been declared deceased.
