An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person injured during the evening hours of July 9th. According to official reports, Ernest Penns was travelling on a motorcycle on South LP E. in the westbound lanes, near the South Fwy exit when a Lexus failed to maintain their speed and distance and struck the rear of Penn’s motorcycle.
As a result of the impact, Penns was thrown from his bike, and when first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Penns had sustained serious injuries and transported him to the hospital.
