Round Rock, TX — September 17, 2024, Erika Ramirez-Santana was injured following a car accident that occurred at around 8:44 P.M. on I-35.
An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person injured during the evening hours of September 17th. According to official reports, Erika Ramirez-Santana was travelling in a Mazda Miata on I-35 in the northbound lanes, and was stopped due to traffic. That’s when a Honda Fit coming from the rear failed to maintain their speed and struck the rear of Ramirez-Santana’s vehicle.
As a result of the impact, both vehicles sustained significant damage. When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Ramirez-Santana had sustained serious injuries and transported her to the hospital. At this time there has been no further information released about the accident, including the status of her injuries and whether any charges or citations will be filed.
