Houston, TX — May 7, 2023, Erica Turner was injured following a two-vehicle car accident at around 12:30 a.m. along Telephone Road.
Initial statements about the crash indicate that it took place in the area of the Telephone Road and Airport Boulevard intersection.
According to officials, 44-year-old Erica Turner was reportedly the driver of a Chevy Equinox that was going westbound along Airport. While crossing over Telephone Road, it appears a southbound vehicle ran through a red light, causing that vehicle to crash into Turner’s vehicle.
Turner reportedly had incapacitating injuries as a result of the collision. The other driver did not have any reported injuries. Authorities suggested there be a citation for that driver running the light. Right now, no further information can be confirmed.
