How Did This Accident Occur?

I’d bet most people would chalk this cash up to driver fatigue, but I’ve looked into enough crashes during my career to know that is only one of many possibilities.

Maybe another vehicle forced the Dodge pickup off the road? Maybe the 20-year-old pickup had a mechanical problem that affected its brakes or steering mechanism? These aren’t guesses about what happened in this instance, but examples of factors I’ve seen throughout my time litigating vehicle accidents.

We won’t know what happened on County Road 3040 until authorities complete their investigation, relying on evidence from the scene and data from the pickup’s engine control module. The driver’s cell phone may relevant information as well if he was using its GPS function.
