Authorities allege that the driver of the Ford F-150 which struck Hernandez’s vehicle may have been under the influence of alcohol and could possibly face charges for intoxication vehicular manslaughter. Houston, TX — December 10, 2023, one person was killed as the result of an alleged DWI accident at around 6:30 a.m. along Airline Drive.
Authorities with the Houston Police Department said that the incident took place at the intersection of Airline Drive and East Parker Road.
Public statements from officials say that a driver was in a Chevy Impala that was going eastbound on Parker Road. At Airline, police say a Ford F-150 crashed into the Impala, pushing it into a nearby Chevy Silverado waiting at the light.
Due to the collision, the driver of the Impala was killed. Authorities have not publicly confirmed the victim’s identity. No other injuries were reported. At this time, it appears the Ford driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Additional details aren’t available at this time.
