Right now, factors surrounding the accident are unclear. The reported events here are rather unusual, and I can’t help wondering if the factors leading to the crash were equally unusual. Was there some kind of emergency happening? Did the truck start experiencing mechanical issues? Is this a work vehicle the victim wasn’t in charge of maintaining? Did a tire blowout?
Too often, people just assume this sort of thing has to be a driver’s fault. Driver error is one explanation, of course, and it’s worth looking into. But unless there is clear evidence one way or another, no one should be jumping to conclusions. Hopefully authorities have been more thorough than what little they’ve said currently.
