College Station, TX — March 26, 2025, Emmanuel Moran was injured as the result of a car accident at around 12:13 a.m. along Wellborn Road.
Authorities say that the crash took place at the intersection of Wellborn Road and Holleman Drive West.
According to officials, 19-year-old Emmanuel Moran was on a motorcycle traveling southeast along Wellborn. A Ford F-150 was reportedly going northwest when it failed to yield making a left turn. As a result, the two vehicles collided.

These preliminary statements seem to be pretty open-and-shut, but a few factors need to be considered. There are two things here that often bring up all kinds of speculation and blame-shifting: motorcyclists and teen drivers. Both carry a whole host of bias, and insurance companies like to use those biases to help minimize responsibility.
That’s just another reason that gathering clear evidence should be a priority for anyone involved in a serious wreck. At the end of the day, preliminary investigations from authorities have their own priorities. Those priorities don’t necessarily align with victims and families getting a fair resolution for the harm they suffered. Independent investigations, then, often become necessary to ensure there is evidence actively working to tell their side of the story and leave as little room for blame-shifting as possible.
Hopefully steps were taken here to ensure bias and speculation have no room to stand between those affected by the accident and the conclusion they deserve.
