Lubbock, TX — June 11, 2023, Elvira Castro was injured when run over by a truck in a parking lot near a flea market in Lubbock.
Authorities report Ms. Castro was run over by a truck that was allegedly backing into a parking space. The victim reportedly suffered serious injuries and was transported to a hospital.
The driver of the truck allegedly volunteered to give a blood draw to check for the use of toxins. Additionally, the driver reportedly told authorities that they didn’t see the victim until it was too late, and then were told by witnesses to pull forward. Investigators believe the additional movement caused more harm to Ms. Castro.
