Arlington, TX — May 15, 2024, Elijah Jamel Campbell was killed in a car accident at approximately 2:40 a.m. along Interstate Highway 20.
According to authorities, 19-year-old Elijah Campbell was traveling in a westbound Nissan Altima on I.H. 20 in the vicinity of S.H. 360 when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the Nissan was involved in a collision with a vehicle that had been parked and unoccupied in the shoulder on the right side of the roadway. Campbell suffered reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the wreck and was declared deceased at the scene.
