San Antonio, TX — June 26, 2023, a man was fatally injured following an alleged hit-and-run accident late Monday along Glen Meadows.
Bexar County officials indicate that they were called out to the scene in east San Antonio after the pedestrian versus vehicle collision. Initially, authorities only said that they found a 62-year-old man along Glen Meadows who suffered “catastrophic internal injuries” which ultimately proved to be fatal.
Later, authorities say they determined the man was hit by a vehicle, and they were able to find surveillance footage that helped identify the suspect vehicle. It appears police located the suspect vehicle and spoke with the owners, ultimately arresting a 27-year-old woman they believe was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident.
Authorities have yet to release additional details about the accident, however they indicate intoxicated driving is being investigated. Right now, no further information can be confirmed.
