Midland, TX — July 26, 2025, Ebonie Owens was injured as the result of a car accident at around 6:12 p.m. along Rio Grande Avenue.
Authorities said they were called to the 5100 block of Rio Grande Avenue, just north of the Holiday Hill Road and Loop 250 intersection.
According to officials, 31-year-old Ebonie Owens was in a Chevy Sonic going eastbound along the roadway. For reasons which aren’t clear, the vehicle left its lane, and it collided with a Toyota Tundra along Rio Grande.
Due to the accident, Ebonie Owens reportedly sustained serious injuries. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident. No further information can be confirmed.
