Santa Clarita, CA — October 9, 2023, a teenager was killed due to an e-bike versus semi-truck accident at around 9:00 a.m. on McBean Parkway.
Preliminary information from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office and local news outlets shows that the incident took place at McBean Parkway and Skycrest Circle Drive, just off Decoro Drive.
According to current details, a 17-year-old boy was riding an e-bike in the area when, for reasons not clear right now, the e-bike and a commercial truck collided. The truck ran over the boy, causing him fatal injuries.
News footage shows a Miller truck parked nearby, but reports did not specifically say that truck was the one involved in the collision. The cause of the accident also remains unconfirmed pending investigations.
