Temple, TX — January 30, 2024, Dvante Rashad Evans and one other person were injured in a truck accident at approximately 10:45 a.m. along Airport Road.
According to reports, 23-year-old Dvante Rashad Evans was traveling in an eastbound Lincoln Town Car on Airport Road in the vicinity east of Draper Drive when the accident occurred.
Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, a Freightliner truck attempted to cross Airport Road north to south from one parking lot to another at an unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the front right side of the truck and the front left corner of the Lincoln.
Evans incurred suspected serious injuries as a result of the accident. The 44-year-old woman who had been the sole occupant of the truck sustained apparently minor injuries, as well. Both victims were transported to local medical facilities by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment.
