Any commercial truck wreck is going to bring its own unique challenges to contend with. The unusual circumstances mentioned in these reports only raise those concerns. It makes me wonder if authorities are going to take the time to dig through all of the possible factors here, likely or not, to ensure that nothing important slips through the cracks. It would surprise folks how often crashes like this need more thorough secondary investigations to make sure all of the facts are brought to light. It wouldn’t be unusual if the same proved true here, as well.
