How Did This Accident Occur?
Single-vehicle crashes are a lot more common late at night or early in the morning when things like fatigue and alcohol are more common. In my experience, crashes like this earlier in the day can involve anything from a tire blowout to unsafe speeds to objects in the road that cause drivers to swerve. Hopefully authorities aren’t being too narrow in their investigations and can consider all possible factors. I can’t even recount how many of the single-vehicle car accident investigations I’ve been a part of were already looked at by authorities only for families to find they were left with unanswered questions. If authorities are being more thorough here, that would be good to know. It’s just not the sort of thing I’d take for granted.
