Fort Worth, TX — February 14, 2024, Dermot Torres was injured in a car accident just after 6:00 a.m. along Altamesa Boulevard.
According to authorities, 40-year-old Dermot Torres was traveling in a northbound Toyota Tacoma pickup truck on Crowley Road at the Altamesa Boulevard intersection when the accident occurred.
The pickup truck reportedly had the right of way due to the green light indication on the traffic signal. Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, an eastbound Chevy Sonic failed to yield to the traffic on Crowley Road, neglecting to heed the red light and entering the intersection at an unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the Sonic and the Tacoma.
Torres incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the accident; he was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
