Callahan County, TX — December 16, 2023, Dennis Warren and Cristobal Solis were killed while Frank Solis was injured in a car accident on S.H. 36.
According to authorities, 52-year-old Dennis Warren was traveling in an eastbound Chevy Silverado while Frank and Cristobal Solis—ages 74 and 48, respectively—were traveling in a westbound Honda Ridgeline when the accident took place.
According to preliminary reports, the Chevy Silverado failed to safely maintain its lane of travel, veering into the westbound lane of the highway. This resulted in a collision with the oncoming Honda Ridgeline. Dennis Warren and Cristobal Solis both sustained fatal injuries due to the crash; they were declared deceased at the scene. Frank Solis sustained a severe injury and was transported to a local medical center by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.
