Guadalupe County, TX — July 16, 2024, Delton Seelk was injured following a car accident at approximately 9:30 a.m. along Farm to Market 725.
According to authorities, 87-year-old Delton Seelk was traveling in a northbound Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck on Farm to Market 725 at the intersection with the eastbound service road for I.H. 10 when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, an eastbound Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck with a trailer in tow on the service road entered the intersection at an apparently unsafe time, failing to yield the right of way at a stop sign. This resulted in a collision between the front-right corner of the Ram and the left side of the Chevy.
Seelk suffered reportedly serious injuries as a result of the wreck; he was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
