Bernalillo County, NM — November 2, 2024, David Harper and Mary Harper were killed in a truck accident that took place along Interstate Highway 40.
According to authorities, 60-year-old David Harper and 62-year-old Mary Harper, both from Hurricane, Utah, were traveling in a passenger vehicle on I.H. 40 when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a collision occurred between the passenger vehicle and an 18-wheeler. The passenger vehicle reportedly burst into flames due to the crash. Both David and Mary Harper suffered fatal injuries as a result of the wreck and were declared deceased at the scene.
