Frio County, TX — August 31, 2023, David Gil was injured in a single-vehicle truck accident around 9 a.m. on I-35 in Frio County.
According to investigators, the victim’s Peterbilt semi-truck was traveling south on I-35, near mile marker 89, when the vehicle veered toward the passenger side and left the road. The truck reportedly continued traveling southwest across an access road, struck train tracks, and overturned onto its passenger side.
Mr. Gil purportedly sustained serious injuries.
Authorities have not released any other details at this time.
