Tarrant County, TX — October 14, 2024, David Diera was killed following single-car accident shortly after 12:45 a.m. along Interstate Highway 35W.

According to authorities, 27-year-old David Diera was traveling in a southbound Chevrolet Tahoe SUV on I.H. 35W in the vicinity south of Risinger Road when the accident took place.

The Tahoe was reportedly traveling in the center of three southbound lanes when it apparently began to drive to the right. In an alleged attempt to avoid a collision with another vehicle that had been traveling in the right-most lane, the Tahoe overcorrected to the left, crashing into the concrete barrier separating the north and southbound lanes of the interstate. It then went into a skid to the right, leaving the roadway, overturning, and coming to a stop resting on its left side. Diera suffered fatal injuries over the course of the accident, according to reports. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
