Bullock County, AL — June 16, 2023, David A. Balderson was fatally injured due to a tractor-trailer accident at around 2:51 a.m. along Highway 110.
According to initial details about the crash, the incident took place along the highway several miles outside of Fitzpatrick.
Preliminary statements about the crash say that 63-year-old Florida resident David A. Balderson was traveling along the highway in a Freightliner tractor-trailer. Somehow, a head-on collision occurred between Balderson’s truck and an oncoming Honda Accord. After this, Balderson’s vehicle ran off the side of the road where it crashed into a tree.
As a result of the collision, Balderson reportedly succumbed to fatal injuries. The driver of the Honda Accord was identified in the news as James G. Washington. Right now, there is no confirmation on whether or not Washington sustained injuries. The crash remains under investigation at this time.
