Accident Report
Ellis County, TX — February 11, 2026, David Adams Jr. was injured in a truck accident at about 6:40 a.m. on U.S. Highway 287 near Waxahachie.
A preliminary accident report indicates that a 2015 Peterbilt semi-truck was heading southeast when it collided with a 2020 Honda CBR600 motorcycle while turning left onto Mustang Road.
Motorcyclist David Adams Jr., 20, was seriously injured in the crash, according to the report.
The truck driver, who was not hurt, was cited for failure to stop and render aid after the crash, the report states. He allegedly failed to yield while making the turn.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Ellis County crash at this time.
