Dallas County, TX — June 13, 2024, Danny Phillips was injured following a motorcycle versus car accident shortly after 11:45 a.m. along Parkerville Road.
According to authorities, 67-year-old Danny Phillips was traveling on a southbound Kawasaki motorcycle on the I.H. 35E service road approaching the Parkerville Road intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, allegedly because of a brake issue, an eastbound Nissan Altima on Parkerville Road entered the intersection at an apparently unsafe time, failing to yield the right of way at a stop sign. This resulted in a collision between the Nissan and the motorcycle.
Phillips suffered reportedly severe injuries due to the wreck; he was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
