An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person injured during the evening hours of November 1st. According to official reports, Dania Sanchez was travelling in a Chevy Silverado on Mesa Drive in the eastbound lanes, when the Chevy was struck by a Nissan Sentra. According to statements from authorities, the driver and passenger of the Nissan and just been in a physical altercation when the driver put the vehicle in reverse on Mesa Dr. In doing so, the Nissan struck a Ford Pickup first, followed by the Silverado driven by Sanchez.
As a result of the impact, both vehicles sustained significant damage. When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Sanchez had sustained serious injuries and transported her to the hospital. At this time there has been no further information released about the accident, including the status of Sanchez’s injuries and whether any charges or citations will be filed.
