Mesquite, TX — July 19, 2024, a Dallas man was injured following a car accident at around 3:20 p.m. along San Marcus Avenue.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened in the area of the San Marcus Avenue and Dumont Drive.
Investigators said that a 22-year-old Dallas man was going northbound along San Marcus. While rounding a curve, the vehicle somehow crashed with a parked vehicle on the right side of the road. As a result, the Dallas man sustained serious injuries.

The cause of the crash remains unconfirmed right now, though folks may figure there’s nothing else to discuss. One vehicle was moving, the other wasn’t. What more is there to tell? Well, it’s always important to consider even seemingly unlikely factors. Was the vehicle sticking out into the road? Is this a poorly designed roadway? Did the victim’s vehicle experience some kind of defect? Investigations could simply rule out such factors, but even that is an important step toward ensuring the whole story is brought to light.
