Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
An explosion could happen for all kinds of reasons, both work related and otherwise. What makes these situations complex is how many different agencies tend to look into things. Folks would generally think that’s a good bet for making sure the victims and families get all the answers they need. But the problem is agencies such as OSHA have their own priorities, and those priorities don’t always align with those of the victims and families. That’s why it’s important there are steps taken to ensure that all factors surrounding an accident like this are getting proper attention so that nothing important slips through the cracks. Are those steps being taken here?
