San Antonio, TX — August 31, 2025, Cynthia Anthony was killed due to a hit-and-run accident at around 12:30 a.m. along Babcock Road.
Preliminary details about the accident say that it took place in the area of the Babcock Road and Wurzbach Road intersection.
According to officials, 75-year-old Cynthia Anthony was on foot at the time in a parking lot along Babcock Road. While there, authorities say a passing vehicle struck Cynthia Anthony, then left the scene. Cynthia Anthony reportedly died due to the accident.
Authorities report that the vehicle involved in the accident was a 2010 Nissan Murano. The suspect driver remains unidentified at this time.

If authorities are able to release more information to the public, they stand a better chance of identifying someone (if they haven’t already). Have they checked any of the nearby businesses for security cameras which may have captured the incident or the moments surrounding it on video? That could lead to significant progress in seeing there’s accountability for whoever is responsible for this.
