Ward County, TX — December 31, 2023, Crystal Evans was injured in a car accident shortly before 10:45 p.m. along 45th Street.
According to reports, 39-year-old Crystal Evans was traveling in a westbound Mazda on 45th Street just east of the Teresa Street intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, the Mazda was traveling at allegedly high speeds and disregarded a stop sign at the Loop 484 intersection before catching air and, upon impacting the roadway, went into a left skid off of the north side of the roadway. The vehicle then entered a right skid before it struck a tree and an unoccupied Ford F-450 pickup truck on private property where it finally came to a stop.
Evans reportedly incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the accident; she was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment.
