Anderson County, TX — April 9, 2023, Coty Stewart was injured as the result of a car accident just after midnight along U.S. Highway 287.
Authorities released preliminary information which said that the accident happened at approximately 12:16 a.m. near County Road 497.
Initial details about the car accident say that 34-year-old Coty Stewart was the driver of a Volkswagen Passat which was traveling southeast along the highway. According to officials, the Volkswagen went across oncoming lanes of the highway, then off the left side of the roadway. There, the vehicle crashed into two vehicles which were parked outside of a residence.
Stewart was said to have injuries which appeared to be incapacitating as a result of the crash. No one else was said to have been injured. At this time, more information is required before the exact cause of the crash can be confirmed.
