Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

Despite there not being much information here, some folks may be quick to jump to conclusions. Unfortunately, most people aren’t fair to motorcyclists, and they just assume all riders are reckless daredevils. If they hear about a car accident, they understand there can be factors beyond the driver’s control. Manufacturing defects, medical emergencies, tire blowouts, road hazards, etc. But they hear the vehicle was a motorcycle, and all that goes out the window.

At the end of the day, motorcyclists are just as susceptible (if not more so) to factors beyond their control. That’s why, instead of jumping to conclusions after a crash like this, it’s best to let the evidence speak for itself.
