Parker County, TX — November 2, 2023, Colten Highfill and one other person were injured in a car accident just after 1:00 a.m. along F.M. 920.
According to reports, Colten Highfill—age 29—was traveling in a northbound Ford Escape on Farm to Market 920 a little over half of a mile south of the Division Lane intersection when the accident occurred.
For unknown reasons, the Ford failed to remain in its lane, veering left into the southbound lane of traffic. A southbound Ford F-250 carrying a 33-year-old man attempted to avoid a collision with the Ford Escape, but was ultimately unable; the two vehicles crashed-head on. Highfill sustained severe injuries as a result of the crash. The 33-year-old man in the pickup truck was also possibly injured. Both men were transported to local medical facilities by emergency medical services for treatment.
The cause of the accident has not been confirmed; it is still under active investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were reportedly clear and dry. There are not currently any additional details available concerning this incident.
