Palo Pinto County, TX — March 14, 2025, Colin Gordon was killed due to a hit-and-run accident at around 10:15 p.m. along Interstate 20.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened in the area of Center Lane, a couple miles west of U.S. 281.
Investigators said that 19-year-old Colin Gordon was on a Kawasaki motorcycle going southwest along I-20. While doing so, a collision happened involving another vehicle. Details say that other vehicle then left the scene.
Colin Gordon reportedly died from his injuries on March 17. Right now, no further information is available.

One of the best tools authorities have after a hit-and-run is the public. Someone is often able to come forward with new information. Maybe they know the person involved. Maybe they see a matching vehicle. Maybe they realize they have a security camera along this stretch of road that may have seen the moments before, during, or after the accident.
If authorities here aren’t dedicated to giving this accident attention, it’s only going to result in important details slipping through the cracks. Maintaining pressure and keeping a vigilant eye, in my experience, is the best way to ensure there is closure to a hit-and-run like this one.
